Background

Business Solutions from The Carphone Warehouse is the business arm of Britain’s favourite mobile phone retailer. Set up in early 2006, Business Solutions from The Carphone Warehouse approached Gencia for an integrated offline and online marketing plan.

Challenge

Although backed by a huge household name, The Carphone Warehouse had not ventured into acquiring business customers before. After winning the initial tender, we embarked on researching their target market to find out who their potential business customers were, and what they were looking for from a provider. One of the most difficult, but crucially important challenges was discovering the contact renewal dates of potential customers, along with devising the messages that would persuade them to switch providers

Solution

Business Solutions from The Carphone Warehouse chose Gencia’s website content management system, PowerBase, along with our marketing expertise to facilitate their growth in a new market through an integrated offline and online marketing plan. Our combined formula of direct mail, online marketing, SEO, Pay per Click, affinity marketing, email marketing utilising LiveWire, along with carefully targeted business events has provided excellent results and initial targets were superceded.
