Director of Gencua, Christina Nicolaides presents Extraordinary Balls

 I met Hattie Hassan and Mica May through stepping up and joining XL. XL is the world’s leading entrepreneur and social enterprise network. Extraordinary Balls is Hattie’s creation and is her vision to raise money for charity and have a ball doing it. 

This year’s Extraordinary Ball is a global one. One ball in eight cities around the globe for one cause. Proceeds from the event will go to The Hunger Project in India and the target is $250,000.
 
It was a real privilege to be asked to get involved and present the Extraordinary Balls vision. At Gencia, producing videos for our clients’ and video specifically the Internet is second nature and something we do a lot of however I had never been asked to star in my own video before. 
 
I had a 10 minute slot to get it right and a very quick delivery deadline. I have an amazing team at Gencia and everyone got behind me to turn the video around in 3 days.
 
The next stage of our involvement with Extraordinary Balls is to tell people about the ball which I am really looking forward to. I will let you know more about this over the coming weeks.

Headpatch's Gravatar I'm sure your balls are extraordinary. Could you tell me more about the type of balls you hold and how often you hold them?

Colin's Gravatar Hi we hold balls for wedding, birthday etc. Recently we were approached to hold a ball for somebody's 60th birthday in Australia. When we get a request, we would analyse the requirements and see if it fits into our company value, i.e. "Raise money for charity while having a ball doing it!" We raised 25K USD during our Christmas 2008 ball! Let us know if we can help you in anyway to ensure your guests have a memorable and fun time, and we will also esnure some of the money go to good cause!
