Background

Sex and consent is challenging subject matter and Gencia suggested a Saturday night style TV quiz show would offer an engaging way to communicate with young people and help dispel some of the myths around forced sex from both male and female perspectives.

Solution

The campaign was designed to be delivered both online and on smartphones.

The He Says, She Says mobile application and website were built and an engaging communications campaign within the College and surrounding area followed during a selected week in Spring 2010. The opportunity to win a free VIP night also encouraged entrants and ensured that the campaign would achieve as many finished surveys as possible.

Results

A local sixth form college represented a strong demographic fit to the core messages of the campaign and in just one week, 2341 out of 4,500 students had taken part in the game. The campaign also provided an overview of the knowledge, or lack thereof, that participants had of the subject matter and provided a range of valuable insights to our client.
